Present: Leanne , Renee , Kerrin , Haley , JulieĀ , Johanna Latham.

Disco Took $935.00 from disco. Event went well and smoothly. Lining kids up at home time with lights on and no music was a brilliant idea and helped the transition of the two groups to go smoothly. Maybe not do next disco o last day of school as we felt we didnt have as good attendance as normal.

How to spend money in bank Haley propoesd we put $5000 into beautifying the school gardens. Haley has a horticultural cousin who has offerd her services. Haley proposed a working bee of parents to pull out plants and replant existing gardens. David was concerned the gardens wouldnt fit master plan but we felt we wanted to do something positive for the school to begin its transformation and not have to wait for years for the master plan.

The committee and David agreed we could start the ball rolling with the gardens with Haley doing basic drawings of the gardens and her cousin helping to suggest plants that will be low maintenance.

Kerrin suggested a Willow tunnel or bamboo forrest for the kids to play in. A sensory garden was suggested.

The school council is to be asked if we can use the sponsored bricks. Kellie suggested we put the money towards the fence surrounding the school.

Kerrin suggested we use the money to make more money to put towards the master plan. A raffle with a large monetary prize that we could sell in Colac, similar to Trinitys car raffle. Could double our money.

David proposed we give $5000 towards the survey for the master plan. The committee agreed this could be an idea as long as the survey is carried out sooner rather than later.

Kellie also suggested the bike rack be moved in behind Epee centre as it was already fenced and has a gate. It would need leveled and graveled. Kellie suggested extending the area outside the canteen so the kids have shelter and could eat their lunch outside summer and winter.

David suggested new play equipment for little park. A climbing spider web frame. Committee agreed this was a good idea. Approx. $5000.

Edging for little park-$2000. Rebound wall.

Next meeting 7th Aug. Start looking for Fathers Day items for Stall.
