Zara: I like the ability that the XOs can fold into a tablet. I also like that they are different than other computers.
Lilly: I like that everyone has a different colour on the front of each XO. I like them because they’re touch screen.
Danny: I like all of the activities that come on the XO. I like the ability to chat to your friends.
Imogen: I like the face activity on the XOs. I also like the internet.
Kira: I like that you can chat to people on the XOs. I also like the paint activity on the XOs

This term in Integrated, we came to school and Miss Tait assigned us to write a report on an invention e.g. light bulb, wheel and phone. We had to include pictures with a caption. When we finished that project, Miss Tait assigned us to make a Power Point, poster, play or interview about an inventor. Some people are presenting in assembly on the 19-5-14 because they were really good when they presented to the class. When we finished that project, Miss Tait assigned us to make a car that will travel as far as possible and will be racing them next week. Miss Tait is yet to tell us what our main project is this term.
On Friday 21st March we had Harmony Day at EPS. We had Harmony Day to support cultural diversity and promote tolerance. We dressed up in orange or multicultural dress. We also had a parade to show off all of our awesome outfits.
In class, grade 6 did some research into cultural diversity statistics. We discovered that over 80% of Colac resisidents were born in Australia so that mean the cultural diversity here is relatively small compared to Melbourne.
In grade 5, the students did a ‘compliment cicle’. This is where you say nice things about your peers and make them feel good.
In grade 3-4h and 3-4r foods all around the world and they read a book named the little refugee that came from veitnam
On Friday our Grade 6’s went to Peterborough to do some fishing.
When we left Friday morning the weather was horrible and unfortunately it stayed that way all day.
We did not catch any fish but the students had a great time trying, we had tangled fishing line from one end of the river to the other.
Congratulatons to Soul for winning himself a new fishing rod and to Zoe, Jai and Max for winning a ticket to the Colac Cinemas.
The year 4/5’s went to CSC today to watch a dance and musical performance. It was fun and creative to watch. Hayley and Macky
